Chery unveils tech innovations in Shanghai

Bringing together innovations in hybrid powertrains, AI ecosystems, and user-centric spatial design, Chery Life showcases how technology and lifestyle can converge.

Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) is the brand’s proprietary hybrid technology platform that is highlighting its latest innovation — the fifth-generation dedicated hybrid engine — which sets a new global benchmark with thermal efficiency exceeding 44.5%.

This industry-leading engine is supported by:

• Stepless Super Electric Hybrid DHT: Delivers smooth, responsive performance with powerful acceleration — achieving 0–100 kph in just 4.26 seconds.
• High-Performance Battery System: Operates reliably in extreme temperatures from - 35°C to 60°C, across nine working modes.
• Guardian Battery Safety Protection System: Adds multiple layers of security, especially during long-distance or high-load drives

Auto Shanghai 2025 will also mark the first full lineup display of CSH-equipped models, including Chery’s flagship Tiggo family: Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8, and Tiggo 9.

This versatility was put to the test last October when the Tiggo 9 PHEV and Arrizo 8 PHEV completed a 1,700km test drive across China — from the humid urban streets of Guangzhou to the steep climbs of Mount Longhu and the wetland ecosystems around Poyang Lake.

Participating global KOCs (key opinion consumers) unanimously praised the models' range, energy efficiency, and driving dynamics.

The exhibition will also showcase smart charging solutions, including home charging stations and card-based public charging.

A new line of camping-ready accessories and modular vehicle layouts will demonstrate how Chery vehicles can morph from family SUVs into mobile living hubs.

Inside, Chery’s intelligent cockpit will take center stage.

Designed with modularity and spatial freedom in mind, it can be adapted to a variety of lifestyle scenarios.

Chery will also spotlight its breakthroughs in AI-driven ecosystem integration.

Visitors will meet AiMOGA, Chery’s in-house developed AI robot, along with a robotic dog, both designed to entertain and assist.

These smart companions will perform welcome acts, dances, and interactive games — while also functioning as AI-powered shopping assistants.
